Summary
Amends the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 to establish the Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Sex Characteristics Discrimination Commissioner to protect and promote the human rights of LGBTIQA+ people in Australia. Also makes consequential amendments to the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986 and Fair Work Act 2009.
