On 2 July 2026, the Joint Select Committee on the Centenary of Parliament in Canberra was appointed to oversee the planning and delivery of the commemoration of the centenary of Parliament in Canberra, in consultation with the Presiding Officers. The committee will operate until 30 November 2027.
