Inquiry into the National Capital Plan (NCP) Amendment No. 102 - Hume Circle Precinct

Terms of Reference

The inquiry will examine the National Capital Plan (NCP) Amendment No. 102 - Hume Circle Precinct (the Precinct) by: - considering the National Capital Authority's approach to the Precinct under the Australian Capital Territory (Planning and Land Management) Act 1988 (PaLM Act) - examining in detail the process for public consultation undertaken by the NCA for Amendment No. 102, and advising whether improvements can be made for future amendments - considering the different stages of high-level strategic planning under the NCP through to development proposal assessment (known as Works Approval) and whether any improvements can be made to this process for the Precinct - examining the approach to long term planning for community infrastructure, open space, transport, and utilities to enable appropriate delivery of services and planning outcomes for the Precinct.
