1. Has AHPRA given complaints about health care professionals' social media posts to the Islamophobia Envoy and/or sought advice on whether the Envoy's office believed they were Islamophobic? a. If yes, then how many times was this done? What proportion of the total Islamophobia complaints were given to the Islamophobia Envoy's office for review/comment? b. In how many instances of complaints submitted by AHPRA to the Islamophobia Envoy did the Islamophobia Envoy determine the complaints to be Islamophobic? c. In how many instances in which the Islamophobia Envoy determined a complaint to be Islamophobic did AHPRA take action against the health care professional accused as a result of that determination and what action did it take? For example, in how many instances did AHPRA: (i) investigate further and require the health practitioner accused to provide a response, (ii) provide guidelines on social media use, (iii) censure the healthcare practitioner including providing a warning or notice on their registration (iv) take other action? Please specify. 2. Please provide a list of deidentified complaints about antisemitism since 1 October 2023 in which AHPRA found there was sufficient basis for the healthcare professional to be required to provide a response. Please provide details of the complaint, any deidentified social media screenshots upon which the complaint was based, and what action was taken against the health care professional in question. 4. Since 1 October 2023, has AHPRA been alerted by Jewish doctors and or bodies representing Jewish doctors to the possibility that pro-Palestine doctors and other medical groups were targeting Jewish healthcare professionals with vexatious complaints? If so, then what action did AHPRA take? 5. What action has AHPRA taken against vexatious complainants who are healthcare professionals under AHPRA? 6. How many instances have there been of the same healthcare professional making complaints to AHPRA against Jewish medical professionals? How many of those did AHPRA find were vexatious? What action did it take against vexatious complainants? 7. Does AHPRA always provide all details of complaints to accused healthcare professionals? Have there been times since 1 October 2023 when AHPRA has not provided accused healthcare professionals with the full details of the complaints: if so, why not? How does AHPRA expect an accused health care professional to provide a defence to a complaint if details of a complaint are withheld? 8. Please provide all details of antisemitism training received by AHPRA staff handling antisemitism complaints as well as all training materials. Please also advise how many total hours were spent on antisemitism training. 9. Please provide all details of Islamophobia training received by AHPRA staff handling antisemitism complaints as well as training materials. Please also advise how many total hours were spent on Islamophobia training.
