Question

You have been asked to develop a national accreditation scheme for ART services, with pilot draft standards available from January 2027. ? Please provide an outline of project milestones between now and January 2027, including consultation, release of draft standards, and selection of pilot sites ? Are you doing targeted consultation to inform the draft standards? If so, please advise who is being consulted ? A Bill to implement new accreditation standards has been introduced to the Victorian parliament. How is the Commission working with Victoria and other States to develop consistent national laws to implement and monitor compliance with national standards? ? Has the Commission undertaken a review of past accreditation records (including records held by RTAC) and the extent to which records include: ? A register of errors and incidents experienced at the clinic? ? Reported incidents of accredited clinics failing to meet standards, and any action taken in response? ? Will clinic accreditation outcomes under the new standards be reported to the government? How regularly? ? Will clinic accreditation outcomes under the new standards be disclosed to the public? If so, in what circumstances?
