Question

1. How many Australians are estimated to have an inherited cancer syndrome or pathogenic variant, and what work - if any - is underway to establish an accurate national prevalence figure? 2. Is the Department actively investigating preventative health strategies as part of its strategic goals? 3. What preventative health measures has the Department invested in to date? 4. Will the Government commit to investing in preventive health, particularly through the development of adult genomic screening for disease prevention?
