? Following the Rapid Review into Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), can you provide an update on the development of accreditation standards for IVF clinics, and new ART standards? Who is being consulted in the development of standards? ? A Bill to implement new accreditation standards has been introduced to the Victorian parliament. Will template legislation be rolled out nationally to implement national accreditation standards? Are you working with other States to progress similar legislation prior to national standards being adopted? Who will be responsible for monitoring compliance with accreditation standards, and making decisions about whether a clinic can maintain accreditation? ? The Rapid Review recommended ''consistent registration and reporting requirements be imposed by individual State and Territory regulatory authorities''. The 2010 Senate inquiry recommended a Federal Register. Has the Government determined whether a national or state register will be implemented? If so, who was consulted in making that decision? ? The Rapid Review recommended expanding YourIVFSuccess so consumers have more information about their options. Where is this up to? ? Despite many of the recommendations from the comprehensive 2010 review not being acted on, the Rapid Review recommended an ALRC review of donor issues. ? Has the Department made a referral to the ALRC to consider donor issues? If not, what is the expected timeframe? ? Who will be consulted on the terms of reference for the ALRC inquiry? ? What issues will the ALRC review cover that were not covered in 2010? What has changed since 2010 to warrant a further inquiry?
