Estrogen patch shortages

Your website reports that shortages of Estradot 25, 50, 75 and 100 are expected to persist until the end of December, and Estraderm MX 50 and MX 100 shortages will continue til at least the end of June 2026. ? With the launch of the national menopause awareness campaign, do you expect demand to increase and shortages to continue for longer? ? Are any measures in place to prioritise access for some women? If so, how are they prioritised? ? Have you met with the Department or the Minister about opportunities to increase supply - whether through domestic production or inducements to import? ? Does TGA provide consumers with information about where medicines are manufactured? If so, where is that information published? ? Sandoz has shifted production of Estradot from its US manufacturing base to another country. Has Sandoz advised the TGA of any change to its manufacturing location for Estradot? Are they required to?
