15. The TGA's consultation on reviewing the safety and regulatory oversight of unapproved medicinal cannabis products closed for submission in October 2025. Will the TGA publicly release the results of this consultation and, if so, when? a. Did the consultation find that patients and stakeholders broadly recognise medicinal cannabis as a legitimate form of medicine, with patient and prescriber interest outpacing the development of fit-for-purpose regulatory reform? b. Is the position of the TGA that the current regulatory framework is fit-for-purpose? c. Please provide any data held by the TGA that demonstrates an increase in emergency department presentations for medicinal cannabis-induced psychosis.
