NDIS Participants - Social Community and Civic Participation Supports
Question
Senator STEELE-JOHN: Yes, if you could, that would be great. I want to understand the current state of play in relation to funding of that type of support on the one-to-one basis, compared to those that might be funded on a shared basis-on a basis other than one-to-one. We're not too far away from the lunch break. If you could come back to us with that figure after lunch, that would be great. Mr McNaughton: I could do that. And, in doing that, can I just confirm: someone who's in, say, supported independent living circumstances will have some social and community capacity-building in their plan but also assistance with daily living at funded ratios as well. So you're just talking specifically about- Senator STEELE-JOHN: About social and community- Mr McNaughton: part of their plan, but when they're in community? Senator STEELE-JOHN: Yes. Mr McNaughton: Let me take that on notice. Senator STEELE-JOHN: Thanks very much. And then, in terms of the current state of play, is one-to-one support for social and community participation the default at the moment?
