Question

Senator STEELE-JOHN: What are the performance outcomes, the KPIs, for planners, and how was it developed? Particularly, I'm interested in how it takes into account the variability and complexity of each individual participant. Mr McNaughton: We have a range of performance metrics for staff. We develop those in consultation with our staff working group and our CPSU. It also depends on what specialist area of the business you're in. For generalised planners, it's around 412. I think there's a range actually. I'll take on notice the actual range for you, but it's around four plan outcomes per week. That takes in factors of complexity. Just going to Mr Comley's point earlier, what we've done with that is to model, through time and motion, other activities staff do, such as training, quality assurance, team meetings and leave. We've done a whole range of time and motion studies to get to that point.
