Question

With regard to the policy for the responsible use of AI, in response to a question on notice asked during SBE25-26 with portfolio question number F292, DTA advised that ''[a]gencies must update their [AI transparency] statement at least once a year, or sooner if there is a significant change to the agency's approach to AI or new factors that materially impact the existing statement's accuracy...If an agency has not updated its transparency statement since February 2025, it will need to do so in February 2026.'' In June 2026, attempting to access the agency's AI transparency statement instead displayed an 'access denied' page. 1. Why is this? 2. Is this still the case? 3. When did the PSR learn its AI transparency statement was not publicly accessible? 4. When did the PSR correct this? 5. Did the agency update its AI transparency statement within the annual review period (i.e., before February 2026)? 6. If YES, on what date? 7. If NO: 8. Why did the agency not comply with the annual review element of the policy? 9. Was the agency aware of the annual review element of the policy? 10. Has the agency now updated its AI transparency statement?
