Question

Senator ASKEW: For both of those: how many reports, as well as what's been acted on, and how many are currently being investigated. I'll give it all to you, because I suspect you won't have this information. Have there been any prosecutions as a result of the whistleblower reporting? Can you provide us with the existing whistleblower policy-whether that reflects the new legislation and what it looks like for both the NDIA and the commission. Has it been updated now to reflect the legislation? Have you got a copy of the updated policy and the date that it came into effect as well? That's probably all I need, but it will all be on notice by the sound of it, so I'll hand back to the chair. Ms Wade: Just before you do, could I just clarify the question which we will take on notice. When you say 'whistleblower policies', the commissioner will need to develop rules with respect to that. Senator ASKEW: I thought it was policy. Ms Wade: No, it's fine. We'll provide those. Is that what you described as 'policy'? Senator ASKEW: Yes. Ms Wade: That's fine.
