Question

The Govt repeatedly uses the figure of $4.4B invested since 2022 to address gender-based violence. It is very hard to confirm how much of this funding is allocated to services that are directly accessed by people impacted by sexual, domestic and family violence, and various QONs have returned different answers (e.g: DSS SQ26-00002, DSS SQ25-00418, DSS SQ25-000745 and DSS SQ25-000734) Please provide a clear annual breakdown of the amount of funding provided by the Commonwealth since 2022 to deliver the National Plan. How does the Department define "frontline services", "frontline services that can be accessed by individuals experiencing FDSV" and "frontline specialist services"? If different, please advise: - What is the total funding since 2022 allocated for "frontline services"? - What is the total funding since 2022 allocated for "frontline specialist services"? - What is the total funding since 2022 allocated to "frontline services that can be accessed by individuals experiencing FDSV"? Please also confirm whether funding to 1800 RESPECT and Leaving Violence Payments are counted as funding to frontline services.
