National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children - Second Action Plan - Consultation

Question

Current consultation on the Second Action Plan closes on 31 July, but policy work is already underway. Please provide a timeline of next steps? Will all submissions and survey responses be considered before next steps are taken? What is the timeframe for the Second Action Plan actually coming into effect? The consultation portal says "Where you consent, we may also use AI tools to process information you submit to us". Can you assure people who want to contribute that their submissions will be read in full if they choose NOT to agree to AI review? Please outline the policy around AI use and how the Department will ensure that any automated summaries are accurate, and privacy is protected?
