Question

1. Does the department provide any funding to community legal centres, Family Violence Prevention and Legal Services, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services, and if so, how much? a. Are these agreements multi-year funding arrangements? b. What grant streams are they associated with? 2. Please provide a list of community legal centres your department has worked with, either formally through project delivery or informally through consultation and advice. 3. The budget flagged $182.6 million over four years to deal with issues around child support and systems abuse. How will this money be allocated? a. Is the Department planning on engaging the expertise of community legal centres and other legal assistance providers to support implementation planning and evaluation? b. Will there be an increase in funding to community legal centres to help victim-survivors navigating this issue through the Family Court?
