Question

Senator NAMPIJINPA PRICE: Thank you. I suppose $13.6 million is a lot of money for something online. You've provided some detail. Are there any more components of this that you can explain to us? How many staff were part of the costing? Was there any capex or opex expenditure, for example? Ms Power: I don't have that detail at hand, but it's a significant ICT build that will be required to put the process in place. There will also be a range of further outreach and communication to parents as part of the process. For instance, if a parent flags a number of risk-screening questions but still chooses an arrangement that might have a very high level of risk for them, there will be follow-up communications to them at various points down the track and outreach, and there are costs associated with that ongoing communication as well.
