Australian Citizens in Receipt of a Foreign Pension

Senator RUSTON: Do we know how many people receive a pension from another country while permanently living in Australia? Mr Flavel: The information I have is that there are 524,722 Australian pension recipients also receiving a foreign pension. Senator RUSTON: One imagines there are not a lot of people in Australia receiving a foreign pension that don't receive an Australian pension, or could that number be considered to be bigger? Mr Flavel: I might take that on notice, again, in terms of the breakdown for that one.
