Question

Senator RUSTON: No, sorry, do you find that, when you advise parents that their immunisation status is likely to impact-I suppose, could you have a situation, because of the timing of immunisations, where somebody is actually receiving the higher rate, the bonus rate, and then, because the immunisation falls due and they don't actually have the immunisation, they fall back to the base rate or is it more the case that, when people come in in the first instance, they don't get it because they haven't had the immunisations? Do some people drop off the bonus rate or they don't ever get to the bonus rate? Mr Flavel: I'd have to check. Obviously, this is administered by Services Australia and they are getting updates from relevant health authorities in terms of immunisation status, which is a requirement under the law, but I don't know in terms of that breakdown about people who just don't immunise versus maybe they're late or catching up on immunisations who then subsequently meet the requirement and go back to whatever their rate might have been.
