In February, it was reported that ''[t]he federal government has quietly dissolved the Australian Space Agency's advisory board, nearly two years after the body was emptied of its members ahead of a governance review.'' 1.On what date were all positions on the advisory board vacated? 2.On what date was the advisory board dissolved? 3.Why did it take nearly two years to come to this decision? 4.Why did the government dissolve the advisory board? 5.As at 23 February 2026, the ASA's charter refers frequently to the advisory board. Have/Will these references be removed from the charter? 6.What was the total expenditure on the recruitment process for new board members, following the vacation of all board seats in 2024? 7.How many expressions of interest did the department receive? 8.How many interviews were conducted? 9.Was a shortlist compiled? If so, how many names were on the shortlist?
