Question

1. We heard earlier from the CSIRO that the membership of the National Quantum Advisory Committee moves with the individual not the organisation. Based on that information, it appears the committee still exists, can you confirm the National Quantum Advisory Committee is still active today? 2. Are all 15 original members still serving on the committee? Have any resigned or been replaced? Who are the current members of the committee? 3. How many times has the committee met in the past 12 months? When did the committee last meet? 4. Are the committee's meeting minutes publicly available? If not, would you be able to provide them on notice? 5. Given the role of the Committee was to 'coordinate Australia's quantum capability across research, industry and government'. Has the committee provided any formal written advice to the Government on the PsiQuantum project at any point, before or after the project announcement in 2024? 6. Given the Brisbane Airport site has been abandoned, the project has moved to Moreton Bay has the Committee been asked to assess the current state of the project? a. If the answer is NO: If the Committee exists to provide expert strategic advice on Australia's quantum investments, why has it had no role in overseeing the largest quantum investment in Australia's history?
