Question

1. Do you agree that Santos GLNG is most responsible for taking gas out of the domestic market? On 4th December 2025 in estimates Mr Jeremenko from this DISR said, ''over a significant period of time... there have been significant draws from the domestic gas system for that project [GLNG] to meet its export obligations.'' a. Was Mr Jeremenko correct? 2. According to the ACCC, GLNG will export 126 PJ of domestic gas in 2026, or 35% of their production. So Santos-GLNG, which is currently taking gas out of the domestic market - is at minus 35% on its domestic supply obligation - and has to get to plus 20%. Is that correct? a. What will be the consequence for Santos-GLNG if they fail to meet the reserved volume in July next year? b. I understand GLNG has an existing contract ending in 2031, is that correct?
