ASIC - Ministerial awareness of ASIC Gen Z report

Senator CHANDLER: I note the Treasurer was asked about this gen Z ASIC report that we've been talking about in one of his postbudget interviews, when he was talking about young Australians and some of his claims were being queried. He said: ... it's- ASIC- an independent regulator-but, yes, understood ... I'll check that out. Has the Treasurer reached out to ASIC to become informed on the extent of young Australians investing since then? Mr Kirkland: I'm not in a position to answer that-not that I'm aware of, but we can certainly take that on notice.
