ASIC - FRAA review advisory input
Question
Senator DEAN SMITH: Have you or ASIC provided any names to Treasury of people that could be or should be considered to participate on the review panel? Ms Court: I'll really have to take that on notice. I may have. I can't think of one of those names as I'm sitting here now, but the issue about the FRAA and the timing of the review has been the subject of informal discussions over 12 or 18 months. It's certainly preceding my time as chair. We'll find out as much as we can about the interactions we've had. Mr Gregson: The preceding meeting, to save the question on notice, was 21 October last year. Senator DEAN SMITH: Thank you. On notice, could you provide any information about what names may or may not have been provided to the Treasury. Any advice you might have given the Treasury in terms of what could be considered for the terms of reference or the focal point of the inquiry would be much appreciated as well. Ms Court: Will do.
