Question

1. The ATO's eInvoicing for Government page states that the ATO, as Australian Peppol Authority, will 'work with suppliers to increase the use of eInvoicing to 30% of all invoices received by 1 July 2026.' Is the ATO expecting this target to be met? 2. The ATO's eInvoicing for Government page states that 'more than 80%' of Non-corporate Commonwealth Entities (NCEs) are already reporting volumes. Without 20% of NCEs reporting, is the ATO able to calculate the system-wide aggregate percentage of invoices received as eInvoices? 3. How many NCEs are there in total? 4. Is there any penalty, sanction, or formal accountability mechanism that applies to an NCE is it fails to reach 30% by 1 July 2026? 5. Can you provide the most recent quarterly APA progress report, the system-wide aggregate eInvoicing volume as a percentage of all invoices received by NCEs as at the most recent reporting period, and the number of NCEs that have not reached 30% individually?
