Question

1. Can the ATO please advise how much money has been collected by them, by applying withholding taxes on profits sent offshore in the form of royalties, interest, dividends, management fees etc. Please provide a breakdown of these amounts by country and by expense type. I.e. Royalty 2. Can the ATO please advise how much money is sent offshore via interest, royalties and rent etc. where no withholding tax applies. Please break this out by destination country. 3. Can the ATO please advise how much in wages is paid offshore by Australian based companies who outsource roles to the various countries such as the Philippines and India. 4. If you are unable to disclose these figures, please explain why, given the International Dealings Schedule of the tax return requests this information from the companies making the offshore payments?
