Question

Senator BARBARA POCOCK: Can you tell me what the next steps are. Here's the paper; when do we expect there to be a subsequent set of options, for example? Mr Quinlivan: There's a consultation process as part of the review. We expect to then provide a review to government. Then it's a matter for government as to taking those recommendations on. Senator BARBARA POCOCK: How long is this period open for? Mr Quinlivan: The consultation paper process is open for eight weeks. Senator BARBARA POCOCK: Minister, can you give us an indication-we're still waiting, two years down the track, for anything in relation to the previous review. Are we going to see something a bit sooner than that, do you think? Senator Gallagher: I'll see if there's anything further I can provide on notice.
