Question

In response to AE25-26 question SQ26-000038, the NCC contended that ''As the NCC relies on the ACCC for information technology services, the NCC's artificial intelligence governance aligns with the ACCC's AI Transparency Statement. The NCC's AI Transparency Statement reflects this position. The NCC was by extension compliant with deadline as well.'' 1. The NCC gave evidence in SBE497 where it responded 'No' to the question ''Did the agency/department publish an AI transparency statement by February 2025?'' and, when asked to explained why, said ''Unaware of deadline''. How can the NCC contend it was compliant with a deadline that it was simultaneously unaware of?
