Novated leases and s26 transfers

Question

1. How many people have moved between Commonwealth Departments to further their career and lost the FTB exemption for Plug-in-hybrid vehicles since 1st April 2025. 2. I have received feedback from constituents that when public servants are moved under s26 of the Public Service Act they are forced to end their novated leases. This is a particular problem for plug-in-hybrid vehicles, as there is no longer a fringe benefit tax exemption for those vehicles. What is being done to address the issue that novated leases are being cancelled when public servants move under s26 of the Public Service Act?
