1. What legacy systems is your department or agency still using for finance, HR, payroll or other core business functions? 2. Has your department or agency approved a plan and timetable for replacement or upgrade of those legacy systems? 3. What funding, if any, has been set aside for this work over the forward estimates for replacement or upgrade of those legacy systems? 4. Are there any risks if those legacy systems are not replaced on time? If so, what are the biggest risks? 5. Does your department or agency have the internal staff, capability, and funding needed to both maintain legacy systems and deliver the transition to new ones? 6. Has your department or agency assessed whether its legacy systems are making it harder to meet current security requirements?
