Question

1. I understand that Round 4 of the Community Child Care Fund (CCCF) was oversubscribed, is that correct? a. How many eligible regional, rural and remote ECEC services missed out on funding, and does the Government have a plan to address this funding gap in CCCF Round 5? 2. Can you provide a breakdown by state and service type of those that missed out in Round 4, including how many of those unfunded services are council-operated and how many are in "childcare deserts" where there are no alternative providers? 3. What assessment has the Government undertaken of the impact of CCCF Round 4 funding losses on regional, rural and remote services, particularly where centres have seen operating deficits increase significantly? 4. Will you table any modelling or departmental advice showing the projected financial viability of these services with and without CCCF support?
