Question

1. What changes is the Department implementing in response to the ANAO's audit of the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS)? 2. Have there been, or will there be, any changes to staffing allocated to support NCRIS administration? If so, what will be those changes and (FTE)? 3. How many full time equivalent (FTE) staff are currently allocated to support: a. NCRIS administration? b. the development of the 2026 National Research Infrastructure Roadmap? 4. The ANAO report indicates staffing allocations for the NCRIS administration reduced from 18.47 FTE in 2022-23 to 9.96 FTE in 2025-26. Is the Department concerned about the quality of the support it delivers for this program being compromised by this reduction? 5. Are you able to provide the staffing allocations for the NCRIS administration in: a. 2017-18 b. 2018-19 c. 2019-20 d. 2020-21 e. 2021-22?
