Minister for Education | Minister's Attendance at Christian Schools Australia forum 27 May

Question

Senator KOVACIC: Did the department-assuming you're able to tell me-prepare an event brief for the Christian Schools Australia's forum that was held on 27 May here, at Parliament House? Mr Cook: I don't know, but we can ask the schools people when they come, because it would've been schools people that would've done that. The next area-we could ask them whether they did that. I'm assuming we did, but I honestly don't know, because briefs don't go through me as the secretary. Senator KOVACIC: Alright. I have a couple of other questions in relation to that. I might ask them to you in case the schools people say that I should've asked you. But if you're happy for me to ask them- Mr Cook: I'll be here all day. That's okay. Senator KOVACIC: I've been caught in this before. Do you know whether the minister attended the Christian Schools event last week? Mr Cook: I don't. I wasn't- Senator KOVACIC: Minister, do you know whether he attended that event? Senator Walsh: I don't know. Senator KOVACIC: Would you be able to find out for me? Senator Walsh: I can take it on notice.
