Question

Senator O'SULLIVAN: So, yes, I am a big fan of worker retention. The government's First five years project report, which examined how childcare attendance and usage patterns relate to child development vulnerability, found some really interesting statistics. It was looking at quite a large dataset-I think it was over 280,000 children all the way through to entering school, so it's not just survey data or opinions; it's quantifiable data and quite a rich report. Minister, when were you first briefed on the First five years project report? Senator Walsh: I would have to take that on notice, but I am familiar with the project. It's a groundbreaking piece of research.
