Senator O'SULLIVAN: ...The report was released in mid-December 2025. You just said, Minister, that it was quite groundbreaking-I think that was the word you used-but there was no ministerial press release or public announcement. Given the materiality of the findings, why was there no proper public announcement or explanation? Senator Walsh: Ms Crane may be able to assist or may need to take it on notice, but my recollection is that the report was uploaded onto the website publicly when it was concluded. Senator O'SULLIVAN: It's available online, yes. Ms Crane: In terms of the timeframe for when it was published or how, again, we'd have to take that on notice. The entire briefing process and piece of work was led out of a different part of the department.
