Senator DAVID POCOCK: ...........Can I get a quick update on your staffing levels and organisational restructure. Prof. Shergold: Sure. Prof. Roessner: That organisational review has been completed, and the new structure came into place on 1 March 2026. Senator DAVID POCOCK: How many? Prof. Roessner: How many? We had a total of seven voluntary redundancies. One employee did not accept the voluntary redundancy and has been in a retention period, as per the enterprise agreement. Senator DAVID POCOCK: In a retention period? Prof. Roessner: Yes-entered a retention period in accordance with the- Senator DAVID POCOCK: How long does that go for? Prof. Roessner: It should finish on 19 June 2026, if there are no further changes. Senator DAVID POCOCK: What happens after that? Do they become a permanent employee again or- Prof. Roessner: No. Senator DAVID POCOCK: are they gone? Okay. You don't accept a voluntary redundancy, you get that period and then you're gone. Okay. How many staff do you now have? Mr Murfett: The current headcount is 167. That comprises 126 ASL. Senator DAVID POCOCK: And how many did you have last financial year? Mr Murfett: We don't have those figures with us at the moment. I can try and track them down. Senator DAVID POCOCK: That'd be good-on notice. Thank you.
