FWC | CFMEU administration - staff departures and certificate applications

Question

In response to SQ25-000834, DEWR said ''The Administrator has reported that 121 staff nationally have exited the union since the Administration commenced. This is in addition to the 214 officeholders (and 292 offices) that were vacated as a result of the scheme of administration.'' In response to SQ25-001857, the FWC said ''the Administrator identified 61 staff who were previously engaged by the [Victorian] Branch had departed since 23 August 2024''. 1. For each branch of the CFMEU that has been placed under administration, identify the number of staff who have departed since the administration began. How many 'removed persons' have applied for a certificate from the Fair Work Commission under section: 2. 323MC of the Registered Organisations Act for a certificate to hold office? 3. 323MD of the Registered Organisations Act for a certificate to be employed or engaged by an organisation? 4. For all individuals granted a certificate under section 323MC or 323MD of the Registered Organisations Act who held an office in the CFMEU prior to administration, please identify: the branch the individual was a member of, and the most recent office they held prior to administration.
