Question

1. Why has the number of people with an intellectual disability on JobSeeker Payment increased so significantly? 2. What assessment has been undertaken regarding the impact of mutual obligations and compliance settings on people with an intellectual disability, who have higher support needs and who data suggests are being disproportionately impacted by payment suspensions? 3. How many payment suspensions affecting people with intellectual disability were found to be incorrectly applied? 4. What consultation has occurred with disability representative organisations regarding the impact of payment suspensions and compulsory participation requirements on people with disability, including people with high support needs and increased barriers to employment such as people with an intellectual disability? 5. In the context of the Government's forthcoming employment services reforms announced by Minister Rishworth, how will the new system respond to the specific needs of people with intellectual disability, including those currently receiving JobSeeker Payment and subject to mutual obligations?
