Question

1. Is the Department aware of allegations concerning the labour hire firm ''Women in Construction'', which has supplied women to Victorian construction projects including the Suburban Rail Loop, and if so, when did it first become aware of allegations? 2. Was the Minister or the Department briefed by anyone in the Victorian Government including the Premier or the Minister for the Suburban Rail Loop Mr. Nick Staikos regarding these allegations involving ''Women in Construction'' and if so when? 3. Given allegations regarding the founder's domestic violence history and claims individuals with criminal backgrounds held management roles, what assessment has the Department undertaken to ensure Commonwealth-funded projects employing women on construction sites are safe and free from workplace law breaches and criminal behaviour? 4. Have any assessment or actions by the Department been reported to the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations and if so, when? 5. Have any assessments or actions by the Department been reported to the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government and if so, when?
