1. What is the government's current target response time between a reported ghost net sighting and its physical retrieval? 2. Who is responsible for actioning ghost net sighting reports - Parks Australia, relevant state/territory agencies, or Ranger groups - and how are reports triaged by location and urgency? 3. Is there publicly available data on the number of ghost net sightings reported, the number actioned, and average response times? a. If not, why not, and will the department commit to publishing this data? 4. Are there circumstances under which a reported ghost net sighting would not be actioned for retrieval? What factors determine whether a net is retrieved or left in place?
