Question

The Tasmanian government once again renewed the exclusive lease to a world heritage listed island in the TWWHA, for the controversial Halls Island / Lake Malbena development. This is despite the proponent taking over two years to complete a report on the impact on cultural values at and around the site - a requirement for EPBC approval. At what date will the Fed Government reject this project on its failure to satisfy EPBC review and approval requirements?
