Question

1. Noting that a number of projects supported under the Saving Native Species Fund, including but not limited to Yellow Crazy Ant eradication in northern Queensland, Gamba Grass control in the Northern Territory, feral cat control on Kangaroo Island, and pest management programs in Tasmania and the Blue Mountains, are due to cease on 30 June 2026, what arrangements has the Government made to ensure continuity of on-ground operations from 1 July 2026? 2. Please provide a schedule of all projects funded under the Saving Native Species Fund, including: a. project title and location b. delivery partners c. original funding allocation and duration d. whether the project has been extended beyond 30 June 2026, and if so, the new end date and additional funding provided. 2. For any SNS-funded projects that have not been extended beyond 30 June 2026, what assessment has been made of the impact of program cessation on threatened species outcomes?
