1. What funding is provided in the 2026-27 Budget and across the forward estimates for avian influenza (H5N1) preparedness, surveillance and response? 2. Are any unspent funds from existing avian influenza preparedness and response programs being carried over into the 2026-27 Budget period? 3. What specific measures, if any, are being funded to reduce the risk of H5N1 transmission to wildlife and threatened species, including seabirds and marine mammals? 4. Are unspent funds in the current program being continued in this budget?
