The Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) has stated it is not proposing changes to Sustainable Diversion Limits (SDLs) in response to a range of plausible 2050 climate futures. (a) How does the Department assess the risks this position poses to achieving the Basin Plan's objectives under the Water Act 2007? (b) What measures are in place to ensure Basin Plan outcomes remain achievable under climate change scenarios?
