Question

1. With respect to the ABC podcast series 'Autistic AF with Grace Tame': a. what is the cost of this series b. how much is Ms Tame being paid c. have the ABC's Editorial Policies and Code of Conduct been drawn to her attention, particularly as they relate to engaging in political activism which could compromise the broadcaster's impartiality: if so, when? 2. When was Ms Tame first approached to host this series? When was she signed to host the program? When was it produced? Who commissioned and approved the series? Please provide a copy of her contract of employment. 3. In a report in the Sydney Morning Herald entitled ''Charlie Pickering joins criticism of ABC's Grace Tame podcast deal'' on 2 June 2026, an ABC spokesperson is quoted as saying that ''the ABC has been working with Ms Tame on this series since late 2025''. Please describe the nature of this work. 4. Did the ABC conduct any assessment of Ms Tame's public statements and activism including her chanting of 'from Gadigal to Gaza, globalise the intifada' (widely regarded to be a call for violence against Jews around the world) at a rally at the Sydney Town Hall in February 2026 and her comments on ABC Radio in March 2026 when she claimed that corroborated reports of Hamas' sexual violence against Israeli women were 'propaganda' that had been 'debunked'? If so, please provide details including all documents held by the ABC in relation to this assessment. 5. Given the revelation that the ABC had been working with Ms Tame on this series since late 2025, did the ABC counsel Ms Tame in relation to her conduct at the Sydney Town Hall rally or her comments on ABC Radio or take any other action. Please provide details including all relevant documents held by the ABC. If the ABC did not counsel Ms Tame, explain the basis for this decision. 6. Please provide what, if any, restrictions have been placed on Ms Tame to ensure she refrains from using this podcast as a platform for anti-Israel activism or does not otherwise engage in conduct which brings the ABC into disrepute. 7. Was Mr Charlie Pickering counselled by ABC management in relation to his initial comments to Rebel News about Ms Tame's engagement? If so, why? 8. Apart from the documents already requested above, could the ABC provide all internal communications and reports about Ms Tame's engagement as well as Mr Pickering's interview with Rebel News? 9. Did the ABC provide Mr Pickering with a news release to issue or provide advice to Mr Pickering about how he should respond to the media about his statements on Grace Tame to Rebel News? If so, what input did the ABC give Mr Pickering? Please provide documents.
