In relation to the closure of the Tharwa LPO, does the CEO of Australia Post maintain his evidence to the Committee that, ''that was not a decision Australia Post made but a decision the licensee made... We have looked at alternatives, but there is no-one interested in taking on that business.... ...That licensee decided to retire, I believe, and handed back the licence.'' 2. Did (a) Senator Gallagher (b) the Member for Bean make any representations to Australia Post about retaining the Tharwa Licensed Post Office: if so, on what date(s)?
