CREATIVE AUS - Australian Cultural Fund - Pearls and Irritations

Question

1. Will Creative Australia provide: a. the full unredacted agenda and attachments from the April 7, 2025 meeting, where senior executives discussed the Pearls & Irritations project b. the full unredacted copies of all other reviews it has undertaken of Pearls and Irritations projects, together with attachments or appendices? 2. Have Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) applicants always had to satisfy the ACF that the money they raise will be used exclusively for artistic or cultural purposes? 3. Will Creative Australia provide a list of all fundraising projects which were granted access to the ACF's DGR status: a. between 1 July 2023 and Creative Australia's review of the ACF's eligibility criteria in October and November 2024, and b. subsequent to this review but prior to its implementation? 4. In relation to each such fundraising project: a. did the application make it clear that the applicant: i. undertook cultural or arts related activities ii. that all funds raised would be used for the promotion and presentation of cultural activities b. was the project: i. approved or rejected ii. subsequently audited or interrogated: if so with what result iii. subject to any attempt to recoup monies raised?
