The 2026 Budget cut funding to the Regional Tech Hub, which provides vital support to help regional Australians get connected and stay connected to technology to support their employment and personal safety. New technology rollout means people in the regions need support more than ever. How will the Department support people in the regions in need of tech assistance in the future?
