Question

Baseline data and comparison with the Set the Standard Report: 1. Were questions in the Set the Standard Report survey repeated in the PWSS survey? If so, which questions were repeated? If not, why not (as how can progress be measured if the questions are different)? 2. Please provide a table with a direct comparison between responses to the repeated questions from the Set the Standard Report to track if any progress has been made in eliminating or reducing unacceptable behaviours in Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces. 3. Page 19 reports on parliamentarians, MOP(S) Act employees, parliamentarian and public service employees experiences of unacceptable behaviours in the last 12 months. However, "Harassment" and "Sexual harassment" are listed separately, with "harassment" scoring significantly higher responses on each table. Please explain how the difference between the two categories was explained to participants. Explain why the PWSS is confident these two numbers should not be added together in each table for a more complete picture of the levels of harassment across Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces. 4. Similarly, how does "unequal treatment" and "discrimination" differ? Please explain how this difference was explained to participants. Explain why the PWSS is confident these two numbers should not be added together in each table for a more complete picture of discrimination across Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces. 5. Please provide a copy of the full questionnaire used for PWSS' 2025 culture survey.
