Question

1. I refer the Minister to his circular on the definition of Parliamentary Business issued in March 2025. (MIN 2025/01) 2. How does the Minister for Communications' attendance at the 40th birthday party of a friend - who is the wife of Minister Picton - at a live music venue, satisfy the definition of "Parliamentary Business" as set out in the Parliamentary Business Resources Act framework? 3. How does the Minister for Communications' insistence that she conducted "Parliamentary Business" at a 40th birthday party at a live music venue satisfy her obligation under the Parliamentary Business Resources Act for her activities to be publicly justifiable and reasonable, given community expectations? 4. Does the Special Minister of State believe that the Minister for Communications purporting to have conducted a sideline meeting at a live music venue is plausible and in line with community expectations?
